This new test is a general competency test produced by the Public Service Commission of Canada. It measures the general cognitive skills that are necessary for most management and office careers.

The real tests costs money to complete, but you can take this sample practice test (which is the same length of the real test) for free. Despite what you might think, this is actually a really fun test, and a real brain teaser. Never mind that it was produced by the government of Canada!

Give it a try!

Test Orientativo

What kind of test is this, you ask? Well, that question is not so easy to answer.

You will answer 24 questions, each of which seems to have little to do with the others (or reality itself). At this point, you will click on a button that says “MAKE BIG NOW” and then you will be wisked away to another page which will kindly tell you which extreme world location you resemble the most in temperament.

I got Mount Wai’ale’ale in Hawaii. Which extreme world location are you?

Have I got a quick and easy delight for you!

Check out this new typing test that I just posted. It will only take you one or two minutes to complete and will tell you how fast you are able to type! I just took the test myself and found out that I type an average of 68 words per minute. Think you can beat that?

I dare you to try the speed typing test!

You don’t need me to tell you that proper typing skills are essential to success in secondary education as well as any office related job. After all, you don’t want to have to pay a friend to type your papers and reports up for you because you are too slow!

Measure and improve your typing speed with the typing tests listed in this new test category that I’ve just posted. Some are more oriented towards accuracy, while others are oriented towards speed. The test you choose will all depend on which skills you need to improve!

If your typing skills are badly in need of improvement, or even if you think you’ve got everything under control; why not go ahead and give some of these typing tests a try?

“When Samantha wakes up, she feels that she had had the most horrible nightmare.”

Can you identify the grammatical error in the sentence given above?

No?!? Well, they’re gonna get a lot harder than THAT where you’re going! That’s right. The SAT language test doles out mercy to no living being! If you couldn’t identify the error in the example sentence (or maybe even if you could), you’ve got quite-a-bit of studying to do mister (or miss).

Try starting with this handy SAT Grammar Test which I’ve carefully selected for your test prep needs:

(By the way. The error that you missed had something to do with inconsistent verb tenses. Don’t stay up to late thinking about it!)

The SAT examination is probably the most well known standardized testing system to have ever impinged upon the consciousness of the average American high school student. Every year, millions of eager highschoolers march off to ad hoc testing stations set up across the country in high school gyms, community centers and the like. Why, you ask? Well, to take the SAT of course!

If you are a high school student projected to graduate this year, chances are that you will need to take this oh-so-dreaded (yet oh-so-exquisite) test before you send in your college applications.

Here’s the good news. While some people think of the SAT as a sort of intelligence test (something which you can’t practically prepare yourself for) this is really not the case. The SAT is basically a test of learned knowledge (something that you darn well CAN prepare yourself for). For starters, check out some of the practice SAT tests posted in this new test category.

Picture this scenario:

Jim is a humble office worker who is trying to get ahead, your typical “everyman,” right? Jim disparately wants to make more money, but he knows that he needs to get back to school in order to get out of his industry and into the high tech science field.

But one thing is standing in Jim’s way…
……….
………
……..
…….
……
…..
….

..
.
MATH!

Yes, that’s right. Whenever Jim here’s the word “math,” he instantly sees the phrases “long division,” “algebra,” and “complex factor analysis” slide before his eyes in a flashing Las Vegas style marquee, complete with dancing zebras, bad Elvis impersonators, and seventeen-year-olds dressed as David Copperfield.

What can Jim do? (or rather what can YOU do?)

It’s time to brush up on your math skills. Seriously now, it’s not as tough as you think. Get started on some of the practice math tests in this new test category and you’ll realize that it’s not quite as difficult as you remember.

Keep your chin up!

The 16PF is a different kind of spin on the standard Jung type personality test. Some would say that it is a much more specific and effective personality assessment tool. Companies such as Gap, American Express, Cisco, and many more, have used this test as a way of evaluating their employees. Now it is available to the general public.

The 16PF is based on the factor analysis principles generated by the legendary psychologist Raymond Cattell. Instead of being tested on four personality categories, you will be tested on sixteen of them, including anxiety, liveliness, dominance, sensitivity, and perfectionism.

This is not a free test, but the money that you invest in it will get you a professionally crafted personality report that will help you to understand yourself and your career potential better.
