Planning to take the GRE test anytime soon? (You know, that long tedious test that is also called the “Graduate Record Examinations”?)

If so, you’re going to need to brush up on your antonym (aka “opposite”) recognition skills. Once you sit down in your seat to take the GRE test, and you get to the language portion of the test, several of the questions will give you a word and ask for its opposite. This may sound easy, but it can be REALLY tricky.

Try checking out this set of sample GRE: Antonyms Questions for some practice. This will give you an idea of what kinds of questions to expect on the real test (and give you an idea of just how prepared you really are!). This is a short test and should only take a few minutes to complete. Check it out!
