Does it take you an hour to do a simple task that should take you just 15 minutes? Do you put off important projects for weeks or pay your bills several days after they are due?

If so, you might be a procrastinator. Many people don’t think that putting things off is a big deal, but if procrastination isn’t put in check it can eventually become a serious impediment to a happy and successful life. In the worst cases, procrastination may jeopardize your relationships, your career, and even your health.

But how can you find out if you are truly a procrastinator? The best way is to seek professional help. A professional mental health professional can help you understand if your procrastination is getting out of hand, and help you take the necessary steps toward a procrastination free life.

If you think that you may have a problem with procrastination, try taking the Procrastination Test. While this is no replacement for professional mental health attention, this test is a great place to start.

Planning to take the GRE test anytime soon? (You know, that long tedious test that is also called the “Graduate Record Examinations”?)

If so, you’re going to need to brush up on your antonym (aka “opposite”) recognition skills. Once you sit down in your seat to take the GRE test, and you get to the language portion of the test, several of the questions will give you a word and ask for its opposite. This may sound easy, but it can be REALLY tricky.

Try checking out this set of sample GRE: Antonyms Questions for some practice. This will give you an idea of what kinds of questions to expect on the real test (and give you an idea of just how prepared you really are!). This is a short test and should only take a few minutes to complete. Check it out!

So, you’ve just graduated from College, you’ve got your diploma, and you’ll never have to take another test in your life! Right?

Wrong. In today’s competitive job market, many people choose to go on to graduate school and earn a second degree. And in that case, you’re going to have to take the “GRE” test. That’s short for Graduate Record Examination. Remember the SAT test that you took after you graduated from high school? The GRE is basically the same thing, only much more difficult.

So what can you do about it? For starters, try checking out some of the tests in the new category that I just posted entitled “GRE Tests.” These are practice tests that simulate the experience of taking the real GRE. The more of these practice tests that you take, the more you will be able to evaluate your own readiness. This is by no means a comprehensive resource, but you’ve gotta start somewhere right?
