Aptitude tests are used by more than 70% of employers as part of their hiring process. With more than 5,000 variations available, there is a wide variety of aptitude tests in use.
Testing concepts including numerical reasoning, verbal ability, abstract reasoning, spatial reasoning, mechanical reasoning and data checking; it is recommended that you spend some time practicing for your aptitude test as early as two weeks before your test date.
Aptitude tests are timed, multiple-choice questions and last approximately thirty minutes. The results are compared to a control group, considering the number of questions properly answered within the time allotted.

The company I work for used a PEO to issue an assessment test before I was hired. It wasn’t anything too difficult, but while I was taking the test it was easy to see how the questions would help the company decide who was right for the job.
