Domestic Violence is a real but saddening facet of contemporary human life. But if you are experiencing physical abuse, you don’t have to simply take it. You should instead ask for help.
If you are unsure, ask a doctor or counselor to diagnose you for signs of abuse.
This is the best way to help yourself. But as a start, you can take this online quiz to get a preliminary assessment. But remember, this is no replacement for seeing a qualified professional.

New Test: General Knowledge Commercial Drivers License Test

If you want to drive a truck for a living, you are going to need to get yourself a Commercial Drivers License (or CDL) which is different from a regular drivers license.
You need to know a lot more in order to get a CDL than you would if you were simply looking to get a regular drivers license.
This quiz goes over some of the knowledge that you will need in order to get your own Commercial Driver’s License.

New Test: 2012 SelectSmart.com Presidential Candidate Selector

I know that this is a little early to start thinking about the 2012 presidential elections (actually it is VERY early). But still, SelectSmart has come up with this quiz to help you decide which potential 2012 candidate you are most likely to be in support of.
You’ll answer a group of questions and then the test will match you with a candidate based on your answers.
Possible answers are Barack Obama, John McCain, Hillary Clinton, etc.
My only gripe with this test is that while it includes hardcore right-wingers like Rush Limbaugh and Ron Paul (who admittedly represent two very different meanings of the term “Right Wing”), there is no mention of anyone to the left of Barack Obama such as Ralph Nader, Cynthia McKinney, or Dennis Kucinich.

Right? I know, the SATs make me feel crazy too. I think we can all identify with this kind of anxiety at being forced to take a long and tedious standardized test.
You start sleeping less, waking up with cold sweats, constantly worrying about mathematical identities and grammatical rules. You start to question whether or not you were even meant to go to college…
STOP RIGHT THERE! The SATs are not as bad as you think. You just need to study for them a little bit and you’ll be fine.
