There is an abstract theoretical construct which is used every day by almost every human being on the planet. It is a manner of organizing things and thought processes which wrenches reality out of its natural chaos and thereby gives it the semblance of human order.
This construct is none other than…
THE NUMBER
Numbers are abstractions; they have no physical reality. And yet, having a sufficient understanding of numbers and how they work is essential to getting by in the modern world. The skill set that goes along with this understanding is known by many names (such as “Mathematics”) but here we will call it Numerical Reasoning and Aptitude.
If you’re not sure if you have Numerical Reasoning and Aptitude skills, by all means, take this new test right away. A successful career will depend on your being able to acquire and retain these skills.

New Test: Aptitude Test 2

How apt are you?
It’s time to find out with this new aptitude test. You will be tested on skills in seven different categories which will measure your ability to understand and manipulate a wide variety of information.
The final report for this test offers advice regarding what your score might mean for your personal and professional life (although you will have to pay a small fee for this report).
All in all this is a pretty intense quiz. You only get a few seconds to answer each question.

New Article: Aptitude Testing

Aptitude tests are used by more than 70% of employers as part of their hiring process. With more than 5,000 variations available, there is a wide variety of aptitude tests in use.
Testing concepts including numerical reasoning, verbal ability, abstract reasoning, spatial reasoning, mechanical reasoning and data checking; it is recommended that you spend some time practicing for your aptitude test as early as two weeks before your test date.
Aptitude tests are timed, multiple-choice questions and last approximately thirty minutes. The results are compared to a control group, considering the number of questions properly answered within the time allotted.

New Test: The Acuity Skills Test

This new test measures you ability to perform simple logical tasks at high speed. The skill associated with this ability is called “Acuity” and is a necessary attribute for success in many job fields.
This is a lightning fast test. It will only take you three minutes tops. However, there are a total of sixteen questions, so you will only have a few seconds to answer each one. This may sound tough, but that’s what acuity is all about!
After you finish your test you will have the opportunity to purchase an optional report giving you details about what your acuity score might mean for your personal and career development.

New Test: The Technical Skills Test

You’ve always been fascinated with gears, levers, pulleys and inclined planes; but have you ever thought of turning your love for physical objects into a career? There are plenty of careers that would allow you to work with machines and indulge in your fascination with all things tangible and practical.
But you’re going to need a few basic skills if you are going to be successful in this type of field. These are called “technical” or “mechanical” skills. The new test that I’ve just posted was designed especially to test these skills in any individual. It’s called “The Technical Skills Test.”
You’ll answer ten fairly simple questions and then the test algorithm will give you a mechanical competence score.

Whether you want to have a job where you would be holding a wrench or a job where you would be staring at a computer screen full of simulated diagrams all day, you are going to need to have pristine mechanical skills.
But how will you know if you’ve got what it takes? Well, for starters, you can try out some of these Mechanical Aptitude Tests. They will diagnose your ability to understand mechanical operations such as the inner workings of simple and complex machines.
Who knows, maybe you’ll find out that you have a natural knack for these kinds of things. Uh oh, we might just have an engineer on our hands!

Do you have what it takes to become a computer programmer?
The Berger Aptitude for Programing Test (aka B-Apt) was designed to test any person’s aptitude for programing in an advanced computer programming language.
The test is designed in such a way that one does not need to have any prior experience of programming or programming language to do very well. All that you need is the potential for become a great programmer and you will be able to score quite high.
You can take a practice exam online with questions that are similar to real B-Apt questions to decide if you are interested in taking the test.
