Unlike traditional theories of IQ, the theory of Multiple Intelligences states that there is no one quantifiable intelligence. In addition, it states that intelligence is something that can vary over time, depending on development and learned skills.

Amid all of this, taking a multiple intelligences survey can be very fun and enlightening. If knowing about how you learn and process information is interesting to you, by all means, take this test. You’ll find out if you excel more in mathematical thinking, natural thinking, or one of six other categories of thinking.

Good luck!

IQ tests have puzzled denizens of our world since the dawn of the twentieth century. We simply love to evaluate our intelligence and then gloat about our high IQ scores to those around us. Hence, the prevalence of boring high IQ societies in our day who spends hours on end having Rubik’s cube competitions and playing three-dimensional multi-lingual cross-word puzzles.

But if you’d like to join one of these societies, you are going to have to take an IQ test. And if you want to succeed, I suggest that you practice, hard.

The IQ test that I’ve just posted should give you a start.

Good luck!

With the quick IQ test, it only takes five minutes to get a speedy and accurate IQ reading, or at least this is what the folks at “Quick IQ Test” claim.

I gave the test a try, and you know what? It is pretty darn accurate. It gave me the same score that I got when taking a real proctored IQ test. Go figure.

So if you’re curious, and you want to find out what your IQ is for good, but you don’t have an hour or so to spare, give this little test a try. It should only take a few minutes.

Quick IQ Test

Ever since the IQ test was invented in the early twentieth century by Binet and Simon, people have been fascinated with the idea of an objective measure of intelligence. The conceit is that one’s IQ is static, unchanging throughout one’s lifetime. I would beg to differ, but this is how IQ is generally conceived.

And besides, whether you agree with the theory behind it or not, the IQ test can be a pretty entertaining brain exercise. This IQ test from Queendom is no exception. It comes highly recommended.

What is your general IQ?

There has been a lot of talk lately about whether or not IQ tests are really an accurate measure of intelligence, or whether or not intelligence is even a verifiable trait.

But love ‘em or hate ‘em, IQ tests are still the prevailing measure of intelligence, so they are at least marginally relevant.

And if you’ve always been curious about your IQ score but you’ve never had the heart to try a test, why not give it a go now? You might surprise yourself!

Contrary to traditional thinking on intelligence, Howard Gardner discovered that there are actually several types of measurable intelligence, not just a single “Intelligence Quotient” or IQ.

This led him to develop his theory of multiple intelligences. According to professor Gardner you can have linguistic intelligence, logical intelligence, natural intelligence, etc. That is a huge breakthrough in theories of intelligence that cannot be ignored. The test that I’ve linked to at the bottom of this post is a “Multiple Intelligences” test and will test your ability to express eight different kinds of intelligence.

Have fun!

Uh-oh. The time has come. It is now time for you to find out once and for all if you’ve got what it takes to get into the international High IQ society. You’re going to need to score at least 124 on this test. And believe me, this is no cake walk. To score 124, you need to be in the top three or four percent of all test takers, I defy you to be able to do this.

In any case though, you might as well TRY. You do always have a chance. And if you score 124, who knows? Maybe you can go to those swanky high IQ meetings that they hold down at the Y.

Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences rejects the older standard theory of IQ as too narrow. Why IQ claims to measure a single thing which we call “intelligence” the theory of multiple intelligences claims that there are actually seven or eight distinct “intelligences” which exist independently. These include verbal intelligence, math intelligence, natural intelligence, body intelligence, and several more.

A multiple intelligence assessment such as this one attempts to measure each of these intelligences, not by testing you diagnostically, but by asking you a series of questions about your learning preferences. This is a very different way of thinking and examining intelligence. But it can be very fun and rewarding.

Mensa International is a very big and very old “high IQ society.” This means that they only allow you to become a member if you have an IQ that is above a certain point (in fact, you have to have a score that is better than 49 out of 50 people who take the test).

If you’re dead set on becoming a Mensan, you might want to take this practice test in order to get ready. It will ask you some of the same sorts of questions that you can expect to find on the real Mensa IQ test, which could be really helpful if you are serious about this.

This test is certified by PHD recipients who really know what it takes to create a great IQ test.

In this test you will be required to answer thirty questions, and you’ll have to stick to the time limit of 15 minutes max. If you don’t finish on time, the test will automatically end and calculate your score based on the questions you have finished so far.

Unlike many other online “IQ” tests, this test is actually based on the real IQ scale and the general bell curve for IQ distribution. It is no replacement for a proctored IQ test, although it should still be relatively accurate.
