If English is not your native language and you plan to study in the United States you are going to have to take the TOEFL.
This is a standardized test that estimates your basic command of the English language as well as your proficiency in a few other subjects.
One of the most important subjects that you must be familiar with if you are going to be successful in taking the TOEFL is English grammar.
In order to get yourself prepared, try taking this practice test that I’ve just posted. It’s pretty basic, but it should help you figure out how much more studying you need to do.

In any case, this test is a great vocabulary testing tool in any context. And since you only have 60 seconds to finish it, it’s actually quite fun!

Are you a student from somewhere other than the United States who would like to study at one of the many top American universities?
If this is the case, you are probably going to have to take the TOEFL. The TOEFL (which stands for Test of English as a Foreign Language) is designed to test an individual’s potential ability to understand English in a university environment.
If you are planning on taking the TOEFL soon, you should start practicing right away. You can start by checking out the tests in this new test category. AND, even if you aren’t planning to take the TOEFL, these tests are still great practice tools for learning English grammar and vocabulary in general.
