Oceania is a sort of unofficial continent. Or rather, a lost continent. This system of small to large Islands constitues a large group of over twenty countries. Only it cannot be called a continent as it has no unified land mass.

However, it is a significant part of our globe and is filled with a multitude of cultures. This quiz will test you on your geographical knowledge regarding the location of the many countries of Oceania.

The Australia/Oceania Quiz

I went to Japan recently to do some research on the ocean life that is strewn across its beautiful beaches, but as I was doing so, I realized that I have very little working knowledge of the geographical divisions of the country.

This made me decide to do some research into Japan’s many wonderful cities and provinces. There is an interesting history behind each locality. But you can only begin to unlock the secrets of Japans geography if you commit to spending a bit of time in serious study of the countries topography.

This only quiz will help you to accomplish this goal.

First of all: it’s in South America (duh, why do you think this is called the South America quiz?)

Second of all, you’d better learn about South American geography, or else you might mix up Paraguay and Uruguay at a cocktail party. And gosh wouldn’t THAT be embarasing.

To most Americans, China is a giant psychic block, filled with stereotyped illusions based on films and television. But in reality, China is a diverse region containing several provinces, each with its own distinct culture and traditions.

Dialects vary from one region to another, as do culinary traditions.

Go ahead and take this test and see how well you do. If you get a perfect score, try some of our other more difficult tests. If not, I’d recommend doing a little studying so that you can boost your geographical competence by a few points.
