This is a test on the present tense conjugation of several Spanish verbs, both regular and irregular. If you’ve taken a semester or so of Spanish, this test shouldn’t be too difficult for you.

But if you need some help, do a quick web search on “Spanish: Present Tense” and you should find the information that you need.

Otherwise, this test will serve as a great diagnostic of your ability.

Spanish is an easy language to begin, but a difficult one to master. Even if you’ve taken years of Spanish in high school, you still may have a hard time completing the more advanced levels of this test.

However, anyone who has taken even just a little Spanish should be able to complete level one. At any rate, by the end of this test you will have a better idea of where you stand.

And remember, don’t forget to have fun!

This Spanish language test is based on the Common European Framework of Languages, a standard which most European governments see as valid for determining language ability. After taking this test, you will be assigned a level between A1 and B1. There are higher levels in the framework, but they are not included in this test.

If you have studied Spanish before, chances are that you will be able to place into at least A2. Unlike most Spanish tests online, this one should give you a fairly accurate estimation of your abilities.

This Spanish grammar test is administered by the don Quijote institution, one of the most respected organizations for the teach of Spanish to foreigners.

This is a pretty tough test, but it should diagnose accurately just exactly how much Spanish you’ve retained from your meager training in High School.

Don’t stress out too much ‘though. Just remember that this is only a diagnostic!

Spanish is spoken by over 300 million people world wide as a native language, making it one of the most commonly spoken languages in the world!

It is becoming increasingly important to have some knowledge of this language if you live in Western Europe, the anglophone world, or in Brazil, since all of these areas are in close proximity to Spanish speaking countries.
