New Test: Integral Calculus Test

Calculus is the most commonly recognized genre of advanced mathematics. But there are two distinct types of calculus: differential and integral.
The easiest way to explain the differences is to say that differential calculus is meant to understand the instantiated moments of a process of change, where as integral calculus does just the opposite. Make sense?
If you’re a calculus freak like me, take this test.

Calculus is a necessary prerequisite for several different fields of study including advanced economics, physics, engineering, and applied mathematics.
But in order to survive a calculus course, you need to be able to perform several different types of more elementary math such as algebra, trigonometry, etc. This test will examine your skills in all of these preliminary areas in order to inform you of how ready you are to take a basic calculus course.
Get ready, this could be a tough one!

New Test: Triangles
Filed Under Math test | Leave a Comment
As a great geometry teacher by the name of Eric Lucan once said, “Triangles are my Friends.”
And you, my friends, must know that triangles could be your friends too, if you would only given them a sporting chance. Geometry could become your favorite subject if you could only pay triangles their due regard. It’s not as difficult as you might think. All that you have to do to get started is take this little triangles quiz and you’ll be well on your way.
Will triangles be your friends too?

New Test: My First Test

Judging by the the title of this test, it is the first test that someone had ever posted on Allthetests.com. Judging by the sophomoric effort made on this piece of work, I’d say that the title is apt. Our testmaker does little to engage with the testtaker, and this is quickly evident upon an initial perusal of the questions.
The testmaker has yet to learn the value of subtlety, as might be assume from his or her title. And yet, there is a certain music in this test that cannot be denied. It is rough, to be sure, but there is something to it nonetheless. It sings, if you will.

New Test: Calculus Placement Test
Filed Under Math test | Leave a Comment
This test will help you to find out what level of calculus you should begin in, depending on your former experience.
Each question in this test is at a different level of difficulty and requires a different amount of prior knowledge. If you are able to answer the bulk of these questions correctly, you should be more than amply prepared to take an actual placement test at a University.
There are eight questions in this test, but each one should take several minutes to complete, so make sure you have enough time.

The EIT exam is a test that examines your ability to understand the types of math that are commonly used in engineering applications.
If you plan on becoming an engineer, you will probably sooner or later come across this test. So you’d better start practicing, right?
Well, you can start by giving this practice test a try. Each problem is based on the type of questions that you will be likely to find on the real EIT.
If you score well on this test, you stand a good chance of doing well on the real thing. However, if you score poorly…
…maybe it’s time to get back to studying.

Before you can move on to all of those great mathematical subjects such as trigonometry, calculus, and differential equations, you need to learn algebra.
But you can’t learn algebra if your Arithmetical and pre-algebraic skills are sub par.
And I know that you’re just dying to move forward towards advanced math. The only solution therefore, is to get in some practice in on your arithmetic and pre-algebra.
But how can you do this?
Well, you could start by taking this online test. These are the types of questions that you need to be able to answer if you want to be able to move on to algebra.

It’s time to do a little brushing up on your Basic Operations skills.
You know what Basic Operations are right? Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division? These are supposed to be easy, but they seldom are.
If you need practice on any of these skills, I urge you to go take this skills test. A general understanding of Basic Operations is something that you need to have in order to exist in a market based society.
