You’ve probably heard the terms “Big Brother,” “DoubleSpeak” and “Thought Crime” a million times before. These are favorite terms of political pundits the world over. But where do they come from?
In fact, all these terms originate in George Orwell’s famous 1949 novel “1984,” the most famous work of dystopian fiction ever written.
Here’s a quiz on the novel that you can take to find out how much you know about it, whether through osmosis or by reading it (if you’ve had the pleasure).
